Lockdown cooking

 We went into lock down this week and I have been doing cooking every day. Today I made Eggs Benedict with home made hollandaise sauce for breakfast. Yesterday I made hotcakes for breakfast and Lemon honey and blueberry muffins. For dinner in Thursday night I made lasagne and a vanilla cake for desert. Today I also made cinnamon donuts with my brother. Which one do you think looks the best?

Manufacturing the media!!!!

 

For Manaiakalani this week, we had to construct a type of media. The theme was something that was happening in our environment, so I chose to do Covid-19. I am advertising this amazing noah neck face mask. Adverts are a type of media made to inform someone to do something or to make someone buy something. This mask is strong, perfect fitting, comfy, sweat proof, breathable and stylish

My name is Nevaeh Lawton and I am a year seven at Otaki College.

Firstly, I just wanted to tell you what a great leader you have been over the covid-19 period. You have had to make so many tough decisions throughout this time. You have been so positive, confident and that is something I admire. Thank you for being open to all questions and you have kept us all safe.

Next, I would just like to recognise all the time and effort you have put in. Some of the time, you had to be very tough but, you were brave through it all.

Lastly, I wanted to thank you for everything you have done for us. If it wasn't for you, who knows where we would be now. Thank you for thinking of others with what you have done with the sign language when you do your announcements. Over the past 7 weeks, you have been very responsible for the choices you have made. I respect the fact that you have always been one step ahead.
