Maori Language Week

In school this week we have been learning about how to make hangi and learning to speak in Maori. There have also been some events in the hall for the Maori language week. In Room 4 we have been doing Maori art like drawing Taniwha. Ms P read us a Maori legend and that's how we got the idea for drawing the Taniwha.

Thank you Ms P for having to deal with this madhouse! We really appreciate you coming to school each day to teach and look after us. I will miss all the kind words you use, the stories you read, the word that we do each day, activities you give us and your big beautiful smile! I hope to see you in here again.
